Aligned Designs is founded by local Designer & Artist Claire Somerville. Included in her professional training is a Diploma in Interior Design, a Certificate in Carpentry, 4 years at Emily Carr University of Art & Design, and 5 years as a Props Buyer for Film & Television. Other skills she brings to her work are an aptitude in building and upcycling furniture, a passion for functional organization, a dedication to sustainable design, and an empathetic intuitive nature.
This small business is humbled and grateful to operate on the beautiful treaty lands of the Snaw-naw-as and Snuneymuxw people, otherwise known as Parksville/Nanaimo.
